Embossing on Vellum + a watercolor rose and coordinating, lined envelope



Hello and welcome! Today I will demonstrate how to emboss on vellum to make a watercolored rose the focal point of my handmade card. I will also show you how to make a coordinating, lined envelope using a scrap of paper; no tricky measurements or envelope dies are needed!

  • Card base 4 " x 5 1/2"

  • Black mat 3 7/8 " x 5 3/8"

  • Vellum mat 3 1/2" x 5"

  • "Hello Spring" 6 x 6 paper pad (Echo Park)

  • "Happy Birthday Rectangle" embossing folder (Darice)

  • Watercolor rose

  • Fiskars paper trimmer

  • Texture Boutique (Sizzix)

  • Elmers Craft Bond spray adhesive

  • Foam Tape

  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
