Shaker Card with Inlaid Bee - video tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Blog! This tutorial has lots of tips and tricks that can be used for any type of card. While the video is a bit longer than usual, it is FULL of visual examples like using a crayon to enhance dry embossed paper, using contact paper to easily inlay colored paper on a basic image, etc... Supplies:

  • 5" x 7" card and envelope

  • Card stock for mats and the decorative elements

  • Scrap piece of Acetate

  • Firefly Stamp & Cut (stamps and dies)

  • Penny Black rubber stampe (inside sentiment)

  • Darice "Honeycomb Background" embossing folder

  • Spellbinders Circle Dies (2 5/8" x 3 1/8")

  • Contact paper

  • Foam Tape

  • Crayon

  • Markers

  • Gelly Roll White pen

  • Sequins

  • Mini Misti Stamping Platform

  • Sizzix Texture Boutique (embossing)

  • Sizzix Big Shot (die cutting)


Card dimensions:

  • 5" x 7" card base

  • Black mat 4 3/4" x 6 3/4"

  • Yellow mat 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"
