Wow! It's so much fun to go through the donated supplies brought into the shop! I love meeting fellow artists and crafts people and it's so interesting to see what they bring in and what they leave with, full of inspiration for their next projects. Most importantly, it's wonderful that folks with excess supplies are genuinely happy to share their bounty with our local art/craft community. This week, a fellow artist, K from Taylor, TX, returned with a wooden basket full of great supplies! She brought in tin squares, wooden art mannequins, mixed media parts and most fascinating (to me), a gallon bag of vintage postage stamps. Immediately, I thought about travel themed scrapbooks and journaling, acrylic covered tumblers/coffee cups, decoupage; the ideas for these nostalgic stamps are limitless! Thank you, K!
